She advises international and domestic investors, real estate developers, financial institutions and public-sector clients on all aspects of real estate and real estate-related M&A transactions, project developments, real estate finance and large commercial leases.
Julia’s expertise spans multiple asset classes, with particular strength in the hotel and leisure (heading our international hotel group) and residential sector, where she leverages industry insights to help clients achieve their objectives. She is known for bringing unique cross-border insights to complex real estate transactions, taking a leading role in helping international clients navigate and capitalize on opportunities in the dynamic European real estate and M&A markets. Due to her language proficiencies and market knowledge, Julia has a particular interest in the Nordic markets and acts as one of our country partners for Sweden.
Julia has played a key role in shaping industry standards regarding sustainability, having led the development of “Green Lease” provisions in commercial lease agreements with the German property association ZIA. She draws on this knowledge to help clients anticipate and capitalize on emerging trends in sustainable real estate.
Julia’s experience in our Frankfurt, London and Hamburg offices, combined with her secondment to a top-tier Swedish law firm in Stockholm, further strengthens her ability to deliver sophisticated multijurisdictional solutions that combine local market knowledge with international best practice.
