Freshfields advises Phoenix Tower International on its strategic agreement with Iliad in Italy
Global law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) is advising Phoenix Tower International, a leading global wireless infrastructure provider, on entering into a significant Build-to-Suit agreement with Iliad, one of the fastest-growing mobile network operators in Italy.
This agreement encompasses the development of up to 1,900 new telecommunications sites in densely and averagely densely populated areas, further expanding and densifying Iliad’s 4G/5G mobile network. This transaction is part of Phoenix Tower International’s European growth strategy and enables to strengthen its footprint in Italy.
As part of this agreement, Phoenix Tower International offers Iliad long-term access to these sites under preferred conditions, supporting Iliad’s commitment to delivering high-quality mobile services to its customer base.
The completion of this transaction is subject to customary regulatory conditions.
