Freshfields advises Plenty on its $680m joint venture with Mawarid to develop indoor farms in the Middle East

Freshfields advises Plenty Unlimited Inc. on its $680m joint venture with Mawarid, a subsidiary of Alpha Dhabi Holding, to develop a network of indoor farms in the Middle East over the next five years. Plenty is an indoor vertical farming technology company, which develops farms capable of growing clean produce year-round, anywhere in the world. Its new farms in the Middle East will produce fresh produce for local consumption and export within the Guld Cooperation Council member countries.
