Freshfields advising Hewlett Packard Enterprise on $14bn Juniper Networks acquisition
Freshfields is acting as antitrust and regulatory counsel for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) on its acquisition of Juniper Networks, Inc. (NYSE: JNPR). HPE and Juniper have entered a definitive agreement under which HPE will acquire Juniper in an all-cash transaction for $40.00 per share, representing an equity value of approximately $14 billion. The transaction is expected to close in late 2024 or early 2025, subject to receipt of regulatory approvals, approval of the transaction by Juniper shareholders, and satisfaction of other customary closing conditions.
