Freshfields advises ESR Cayman Ltd. on its first US$700m sustainability-linked loan and subsequent US$300m upsize
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) has advised ESR Cayman Ltd. ‘ESR Cayman’), a leading APAC-focused integrated logistics real estate platform, on its first US$700m sustainability-linked loan and subsequent US$300m upsize, incorporating environmental, social and governance (‘ESG’) pricing adjustments.
The facility agreement addresses the longstanding commitment of ESR Cayman to integrating ESG into every aspect of its business. The facility agreement contains pricing adjustments depending on how ESR Cayman performs against targets relating to solar power generation and average GRESB ratings.
