About Amella Viso
Amella is a senior associate in the firm’s disputes resolution group based out of New York. Prior to joining Freshfields, Amella clerked for U.S. District Judge Anne M. Nardacci for the Northern District of New York. Immediately prior to her clerkship, Amella was a litigation and trial associate at a New York firm, where she engaged in securities litigation, complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts, arbitrations, white-collar defense and regulatory investigations.
During law school, Amella was the managing editor for the Michigan Journal of Gender and Law and actively involved as a Student Attorney with the Juvenile Justice Clinic and the Criminal Appellate Practice Clinic.
Before law school, Amella worked for an international public accounting firm in assurance services.
