Ornella Trost

Ornella is a member of our energy regulatory practice group and advises clients on all aspects of national and European energy law.

She supports clients in particular with projects in connection with the energy transition. In addition, she advises on the regulatory framework for the promotion of renewable energies, hydrogen infrastructure, low-carbon and renewable fuels as well as emissions trading. She also advises on the interpretation and implementation of relevant legislative changes and on the drafting, negotiation and conclusion of energy trading and supply contracts.

Before joining Freshfields, Ornella worked for a large energy supplier focusing on energy policy.
