About Sophie Sperlich
Sophie is an associate in our antitrust group based in the Brussels office.
Her practice covers all aspects of European competition law, with a particular focus on cross-border merger regulation including foreign investment reviews, and antitrust investigations including cartel and abuse of dominance enforcement. She also advises on antirust risk in the context of compliance programmes and training. Her experience covers antitrust and regulatory proceedings before the EU, German and the UK competition authorities.
Her relevant experience includes advising sovereign wealth funds, private equity investors and SOEs on the multijurisdictional merger control and foreign investment aspects of numerous acquisitions across a range of industry sectors. She has also advised on cartel investigations in the air freight, automotive, benchmark interest rates and consumer products sectors.
