About Boudewijn Renshof

Boudewijn is an associate in the Dispute Resolution practice group in our firm's Amsterdam office and has been with our firm since 2023. He acts for both national and international clients in complex litigation related to ESG, Mass Claims, corporate and commercial law. 

He is a member of the Association on Corporate Litigation (Vereniging Corporate Litigation), the Royal Association on Commercial law (Koninklijke Vereeniging Handelsrecht), the Association for Mass Claims and Class Actions (Vereniging voor Massaschade en Collectieve Actie), and the Young Litigators Association (Vereniging Jonge Procesadvocaten). 

Boudewijn also regularly writes about ESG matters for the (online) magazine ESGL (ESG Law & Litigation).

Boudewijn is fluent in Dutch and English.

Recent work of Boudewijn includes:

  • Representing a major German listed gas and electricity company in proceedings against the Dutch State;
  • Representing a major UK bank in UK proceedings concerning derivatives;
  • Representing a major German listed pharmaceutical company in a post M&A dispute;
  • Representing a major US listed tech company in mass claim proceedings; 
  • Advising a major UK tea company operating globally on potential proceedings before Dutch courts in relation to parent liability for alleged misconduct of its foreign subsidiaries;
  • Advising a large Luxembourg producer of glass and metal products on a contractual dispute with one of its customers; 
  • Advising a major Spanish listed credit insurer on potential proceedings related to its scope 1/3 emissions;
  • Advising a Hong Kong based airline on its sustainibility related consumer communication; 
  • Advising a major Japanese electronics company regarding a distribution dispute; 
  • Representing a large Dutch-German company in a shareholder dispute before the Netherlands Enterprise Court at the Amsterdam Court of Appeal (Ondernemingskamer);
  • Advising a major German listed gas and electricity company in a specific instance before the Dutch National Contact Point.
