About Jodie Reindorf
Jodie's practice centres on advising clients on complex, cross-border disputes. She has represented clients in construction and commercial arbitrations under the ICC and DIAC Rules across a range of sucject-matters, including infrastructure projects, premium retail, tourism and retail and IT systems. She has also advised and represented clients through successful mediation proceedings.
As well as international arbitration, Jodie has experience acting as project counsel to clients on live construction projects with the aim of reaching early resolution of disputes.
Jodie is admitted to practice in England & Wales and is a registered foreign practitioner in Dubai. Prior to joining Freshfields, she worked in a top international law firm in Dubai.

- Representing a respondent in ICC proceedings, defending claims totalling USD170 million in relation to rent payments under commercial leases and a put option over shares held in Dubai.
- Advising a global IT company in mediation proceedings against a major Middle Eastern tourism company regarding breaches and termination of a services agreement.
- Advising a client on a long-running dispute on claims relating to a unfulfilled contract for a multi-use real estate development in Abu Dhabi.
- Advising a client in relation to a potential arbitration involving a breach of a service agreement with a Middle Eastern airport services provider.
- Advising a Japanese contractor in relation to an ICC arbitration regarding the construction of a rail project in the Middle East.
- Advised a UAE-based contractor relating to a defects claim over the construction of a conference centre in the UAE.
- Advising a Belgian contractor regarding a North Sea wind farm project in relation to defects and delay claims against their steelworks subcontractor based in the UAE.
- Advised an architect of record in relation to submission of a delay and disruption claim arising from the construction of a mixed-use development in Abu Dhabi.
- Acted for a major property developer in a mediation relating to the construction of a theme park in Dubai.
