Shannon is a senior associate in our Global Project Disputes Practice and is a dual-qualified English and Australian lawyer.
She is a member of our international arbitration group and has international experience in arbitration and dispute resolution.
Recent work
Shannon's experience includes:
- Advising a leading US-headquartered multinational company in a DIFC-LCIA arbitration seated in London relating to contract, tort and competition law claims arising out of distribution agreements in the Middle East
- Advising an investor in a DIFC-LCIA arbitration seated in London in relation to the acquisition of shares in a company that holds local franchise rights for a global hospitality brand.
- Advising a major international oil and gas company in an UNCITRAL Rules arbitration seated in Perth, Western Australia against a US contractor in relation to the construction of an offshore oil and gas mega-project.
- Advising a leading international service provider to the oil and gas production and processing industry in relation to an internal investigation and serious allegations of bribery by an international company providing industrial solutions to the energy sector.

Represented international contractors in connection with a US$180m dispute arising from a gas pipeline construction project in Latin America. We advised on disputed delay claims under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contract. The value of the contract was nearly US$1bn.
Qualifications
Shannon is admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales and is also admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria.
