About Nina Heym

Nina’s practice encompasses a wide range of finance work, including acquisition finance, corporate finance through syndicated loans, real estate finance and restructurings.

Before joining the Munich office in 2004, Nina was a member of the banking team in our London office. Nina has been in our Frankfurt office since 2017.

She speaks English, German and Italian.

Recent work

  • LEONI AG, acting for various RCF lenders of the German cable and wiring supplier LEONI on its financial and operational restructuring by way of German StaRUG proceedings.
  • LEIPA Group, one of the leading paper producers on refinancing including raising WSF funds;
  • Hayfin and its funds as part of the financing of the acquisition of shares in companies of the Hipp Group by Hipp GmbH;
  • Creditors of the German automotive supplier HUF in connection with a stressed refinancing of its liabilities under a syndicated loan agreement and promissory notes;
  • The ad hoc group of lenders of the German jewellery group Christ on the refinancing of the credit facilities of the Christ group;
  • Razor Group on an innovative financing and investment from BlackRock and Victory Park Capital;
  • Deutsche GigaNetz in connection with a syndicated credit facility for the financing of their fibre-network roll-out in Germany;
  • Deutsche Telekom in connection with the €2.15bn capex and revolving credit facilities for Glasfaserplus for the roll-out of its fibre-network in Germany;
  • A consortium of banks in respect of the €650m term and revolving facilities for the refinancing of Deutsche Glasfaser Group;
  • UniCredit and other lenders in connection with several financings for Delivery Hero;
  • Nordex S.E. on its financial restructuring which included a guarantee facility, a liquidity line, EIB credit agreements and a high yield bond;
  • Vonovia SE on a €2.6bn bridge loan financing in respect of the public takeover of BUWOG AG (Austria);
  • Fresenius in connection with a bridge financing regarding the acquisition of Spain’s largest private hospital operator Quirónsalud for €5.76bn through Fresenius Helios including the long term financing arrangements;
  • Dürr AG in connection with a €350m backstop facility agreement and letter of credit facility and the placement of Schuldscheindarlehen;
  • K+S AG in connection with a €1,31bn term and revolving facilities agreement and letter of credit facility and the placement of Schuldscheindarlehen;
  • CVC Capital Partners and Messer Group on the acquisition financing of certain divestiture assets of Linde Aktiengesellschaft / Praxair in the United States;
  • TPG on the financing of the acquisition of an undisclosed majority stake in Transporeon, a company engaged in providing web based centralised transport management software; and
  • The infrastructure lenders on the financing of ELL, a KKR Instructure Fund portfolio company.
