About Elena Hennecke
Elena is a principal associate in our patent litigation group.
In particular, she advises clients in complex and contentious patent litigation with a special focus on fields of life sciences and telecommunication. Furthermore, she advises on IP related questions within non-contentious matters, especially in the context of licensing negotiations.
Elena speaks German and English.
Recent work
- Advising and representing a US technology company in several international
patent litigation series concerning different technologies; - Advising and representing Novartis in several patent infringement matters, e.g. concerning the blockbusters Afinitor® and Gilenya®; including enforcing second medical use patents;
- Representation of Moderna in enforcement of COVID-19-related patents against BioNTech/Pfizer
- Advising and representing Lenovo in litigation based on standard-essential patents for different cellular standards and video coding standards;
- Advising and representing Kodak in patent litigation concerning offset printing, including before the UPC;
- Advising and representing HP in defense UPC and national proceedings based on standard-essential patents for video coding;
- Representation of Alexion in enforcement of an antibody-related patent before the UPC.
