About Hannah Etim-Gorst

Hannah is a Senior Associate in our corporate real estate team.

She has experience advising clients on a variety of real estate matters across all asset classes, including M&A, joint venture investments, development projects and financings.

Recent work

  • Advising Imperial College London on its entry into a new joint venture with Bruntwood SciTech for the development, leasing and management of a new innovation facility at Imperial’s White City Deep Tech Campus.
  • Advising a joint venture between an overseas sovereign wealth fund and Brookfield (having also advised on the joint venture’s formation) on the acquisition of a 58-storey residential building in Canary Wharf from Canary Wharf Group for approximately £485 million.
  • Advising the WeWork senior secured noteholders ad hoc group on cross-border aspects of WeWork’s complex US Chapter 11, including the UK and European leasehold estate restructuring
  • Advising Covid vaccine developer Moderna on its leasehold acquisition agreements and construction arrangements in respect of two buildings totalling 145,000 sq. ft. at the Harwell campus for its Moderna Innovation and Technology Centre campus, a facility for research, development and manufacturing.
  • Advising Bruntwood Sci Tech on their corporate reorganisation, acquisition of a portfolio of further properties and fundraising in relation to their UK portfolio of properties.
  • Advising a confidential party on its acquisition of a minority stake in Vivion Investments S.à r.l, a real estate investment company with a focus on office and hotel properties in the UK and Germany. 
  • Advising Realty Income Corporation on a number of retail park and warehouse acquisitions via offshore and corporate structures.
