About Federico Cazzaniga
Federico is an associate in the Dispute Resolution team.
After graduating with honours, Federico started his career joining the Freshfields Global Transactions team, advising clients on asset and leveraged finance, debt & capital markets, restructuring and structured finance. Federico is now part of the Dispute Resolution team, supplementing his transactional background with judicial experience in financial and banking litigation and arbitration proceedings, both cross-border and domestic.
He assists on wide-ranging civil and corporate matters and related procedural profiles. In recent years, he mainly dealt with derivatives, consumer protection and liability of the manufacturer, private international law as well as financial & insurance intermediation and distribution. Federico is a professional with an assertive and strategic-oriented aptitude. Italian native speaker, he speaks English fluently.
