About Filippo Alberti

Filippo Alberti is a Principal Associate in the Antitrust competition and trade group.

His broad experience covers topics concerning EU and Italian FDI and competition law (dealing with merger control as well as antitrust compliance also regarding  any cartels/anti-competitive agreements and abuse of dominance investigations), consumer law, regulatory affairs and related litigation.

He regularly assists multinational clients in these areas across a wide range of industries including TMT, energy, transports, automotive, credit (banking and insurance) and manufacturing.

Before joining 'magic circle' international law firms, he worked at the Italian Antitrust Authority and at DG COMP. of the European Commission and then at a major energy company in Italy as well as at a very large pay-TV broadcaster.

He graduated summa cum laude in law from the University of Genoa and he also holds two international II level masters (one from Sapienza University of Rome and the other from the Université Libre de Bruxelles).

Filippo regularly lectures on competition law at the Université Catholique de Lyon and at the University of Palermo.
